PULSE House of Fitness offers DC’s first and only Versaclimber-based workout. In our signature PULSE class and innovative LAB studio, we feature intelligently intense cardio and low impact movement-based strength training in a variety of efficient, endorphin-inducing classes.

OUR PROCESS

Hydrate: We work up a ridiculous amount of sweat in a very short period of time, so make sure you come to class well hydrated.

What to wear: Come as you are, ready to sweat in your favorite workout clothes. We aim to build an inclusive community. We don’t care how much your athleisure costs, it’s what you feel like, not what you look like that matters!

Shoes: Did you know that feet have the highest concentration of nerve endings in the body? We believe the more comfortable your feet are, the more you’ll thrive in class. Wear your athletic shoes, there are no specific shoes needed for our classes.

Arrive Early: Get to the studio 15 minutes before class and let the front desk know if it’s your first class with us. We’ll give you a tour and make sure you’re set up for success. Please note that because most classes are only 30 minutes long, we can’t allow anyone into the studio more than five minutes past class start time. We love your heart and we want to make sure it stays safe.

Lockers: We have key-code lockers with USB phone chargers and we’re happy to hold your larger bags behind the front desk. Need your laptop charged for that big meeting? One of our trusted staff will securely charge it up while you break a sweat during class.

The VersaClimber: What is a VersaClimber? Simply, it is the most effective cardio machine ever created! A lower body stepper and an upper body climber. The VersaClimber has been scientifically proven to actively engage and tone all major muscle groups and is more effective and time efficient than treadmills, ellipticals, steppers and bikes!

Perfect for all levels: Will I be able to keep up? YES! The beauty of the VersaClimber is that it is powered by you! You only go as fast as your arms and legs are moving. Each machine has hydraulic resistance that can be adjusted upwards and downwards for intensity allowing for individualized exertion.
